Decentralized Education: Rethinking the Screen-Dominant Childhood

Children are growing up in the most technologically saturated moment in human history. But does more technology always mean better learning? This session explores the growing movement toward screen-light and screenless childhoods, and why many forward-thinking families are rebalancing toward tactile, social, and real-world experiences. We will discuss attention, creativity, nervous system development, and the role environment plays in shaping capable, self-directed humans. Rather than rejecting technology, this conversation focuses on intentionality: when to use it, when to step away, and how to raise children who shape technology rather than become dependent on it.
