XR Sanremo by Metagate

Metagate is a key player at the Sanremo Festival 2025, joining Casa Sanremo events from February 10 to 12 to showcase its innovative projects and mission of supporting the adoption of emerging technologies. During the event, it gives the "Mixed Reality Award" at a contest for Politecnico di Milano students focused on developing music and entertainment apps, turning the best project into a mixed reality experience on Meta Quest. Guests can also interact with Bored Ape #911 (by Burstlink), an advanced AI avatar with Sanremo Festival knowledge and speech-to-speech technology for a fun, immersive experience. Metagate collaborates with Vincenzo Rana from Knobs and the artists of Co-Meta, including Giampaolo Motta, who enriches the event with performances blending art and technology. Excited to showcase the power of Mixed Reality, Metagate brings innovation and creativity to an iconic cultural setting. After Sanremo, the avatar will also travel to NFT Paris, bridging the Italian event with the Web3 scene and stopping at The Sandbox: Artverse.
