Valeria Santoro is cancer research scientist by training turned social entrepreneur. Her first social initiative was Together Women Can, a social intrapreneurship initiative at Boehringer Ingelheim and a non-profit organisation with the mission to provide vulnerable women in Kenya access to cervical cancer prevention and sexual health education. She is also the Founder of Lightup Impact, a social enterprise striving to empower a community of 90 early-stage grassroots organisations to fight inequalities in health and gender and become sustainable in East Africa.
